Well I am disgusted, disappointed, disgruntled, and probably some more "dis" words I can't think of about myself. So here goes.
So apparently I took a 3.5 month hiatus from working out. I can't believe I took the summer off from it. There's no reasonable excuse that I can give except this one.
I BURNED OUT
I was going 7 days a week. I was doing:
30 min circuit training on the weights
PLUS 25 minutes of cardio
PLUS 9 laps in the pool
PLUS 15 minute cool down in the spa
PLUS showering.
Outside of working out I was
Volunteering at IBRRC
PLUS Working Full Time
PLUS going to school full time
So I burned out and unfortunately working out took the backseat. I'm rather disappointed that I let that get the backdrop.
Onto my workout. I have decided that I need to go strictly off of my best friend's workout routing that he gave me which he used in getting fit for the military which is (pool part is my additive):
Day 1 - Upper body machines + pool
Day 2 - Cardio (2 miles) + pool
Day 3 - Core training (ab machines) + pool
Day 4 - Cardio (Windsprints) + pool
Day 5 - Strength (1 set of upper & ab machines) + pool
Day 6 - Cardio (2 miles) + pool
Day 7 - Rest/Stretching
So today I did my 1 set of 10 on the upper body machines and my pool laps. I love week 1 lol because it goes so quickly. I have to build back up to 5 sets of 10 which is depressing lol.
So onto why I'm all those "dis" words about myself. So apparently from early June when I took my hiatus until now I managed to pack back on 24 pounds!!! The gym scale says I'm 353 which I haven't been since 2006 when I became a security manager.
Here is what I have to do to get back on track.
1.) Stick strictly to my daily intake that I have planned out
2.) Tell my boss to go to hell when he tries to buy fast food crap breakfast/lunch
3.) Stay on track with my workout plan and not add onto it that doesn't need adding
I'm also looking into something that is bound to spark some controversy and some possible "don't do it Brandon". I have recently been told about HCG drops / liquid diet kinda thing (www.yourhcg.com) I welcome opinions. But desperate times call for desperate measures.
Until next time my friends. Much love.
I'm gonna post weekly most likely so don't freak out if I don't post daily lol just check my Myspace/FB status to check in on me to see if/when I go to the gym
